Raggamops Cattery is located in Cleburne Texas and
specializes in top quality Himalayan and Persian CPC’s from
some of the finest catteries in the country. Our cats have
produced Regional Winners and Grand Champions as well as
many many Champions. We work with National, Regional, DM,
Grand Champion, and Champion winning lines blended in our
pedigrees. We’re very proud to have such wonderful
bloodlines as Co-Bridge, Oakheaven, Catley Crue,
Prancenpaws, Martinicki, Elshaddai, Marhei, Tehi, and
Joleigh just to name a few.
We produce most colors of Himalayans with the exception of
chocolate, lilac, and smoke. We do specialize in lynx
points. Our goal is to produce healthy cats with beautiful,
sweet, wide open expressions and loving personalities. We
breed for type, head, as well as body structure, ensuring
consistency with the
CFA breed
standard.
Raggamops Cattery is registered with CFA and TICA. Look for
Raggamops Himmies at the shows in the future as time and
money permits.
We breed high quality, healthy, happy kittens that are
raised with constant love and attention in our home and
underfoot. All cats and kittens are sold with a written
contract and genetic health guarantee. Our cats and/or their
parents are DNA/PKD negative and FELV-FIV negative.
Our cats and kittens are our children…with lots of time,
money, and love going into each and every one. Its very
important to us to find the best, most loving, forever home
for each one. They are current on vaccinations and receive
the best possible veterinary care from Dr. Kent Cooper at
Carrier Animal Hospital in Grand Prairie, TX and from the
veterinarians at Alvarado Animal Hospital in Alvarado, TX.
All pet kittens are spayed or neutered before placement and
the costs are included in their price. We do not offer
breeding rights on pet quality kittens and for the health
and safety of my cats we do not provide stud service.
Raggamops is a closed cattery.
Kittens are not placed in their new homes until they are at
least 12 to 20 weeks old depending on the individual kitten.
Persians mature slower than most breeds and we like to be
sure they are ready before placing them. They will have had
two to three kitten vaccinations by this age and will be
physically mature enough to ensure an easy adjustment when
moving to their new home.
Occasionally we have breeder/show quality kittens available
to approved breeders. If you are interested in breeding
rights please tell us a little about your cattery and your
breeding program.
From time to time we have retired breeders and young adults
that need loving homes. We allow them to be adopted for a
very low adoption fee - usually just the cost of the spay or
neuter. If you would prefer a mature cat please contact me
for information and availability.
Raggamops is a small semi-cageless cattery, breeding quality
Himalayan and Persian CPC cats. We do house our whole males
in large walk-in enclosures. Pregnant queens, new mothers,
and young kittens are also kept in enclosures for their
safety and optimum care.
Shipping is available through Continental airlines or Delta
airlines. The cost of shipping is not included in the price
of the kitten. When possible we are happy to meet you within
a reasonable distance from our home. Its always wonderful to
meet our babies new family in person. This cost, including
expenses, is not included in the price of the kitten.
I feel blessed to have made some very good friends in the
cat fancy and am honored to have the guidance of some well
known breeders who have many years of experience. I will
forever be grateful to Debi Cotton of Co-Bridge cattery for
trusting me with some of her wonderful cats. I am honored to
have them in my breeding program and feel very lucky to have
met Debi and to have had the opportunity to see her
wonderful cattery and her beautiful cats.
Bill and Shally Trautwein of Kotickee Devon Rex cattery have
blessed us with their friendship, and although the Devon Rex
is the opposite side of the spectrum from the Persian their
years of experience and knowledge in breeding and
maintaining a healthy cattery is the same for both. Thanks
ya’ll for sharing your knowledge and for your patience with
my endless questions. Oh and thank you so much for my
wonderful friend Jack (Felon). He is such a character! And
for taking such good care of Dixie. She looks so good!
My friend and sister in the cat world Carolyn Wheeler- Lifes
Better Naked Sphynx. Each of us started a new journey in the
cat world around the same time and have turned to each other
for friendship, guidance, and sometimes a shoulder to cry
on. I will forever be grateful for our friendship.
Jervis Tucker of Ragdolls Unlimited--retired from breeding
“for now” - for getting me started and for answering my
endless questions and for helping me with everything from
kitten births to grooming.
I am grateful to my mentor Anita Mehryari of Gorbe Irani for
helping me improve my grooming skills. It has made a world
of difference in their appearance and helped so much to see
how they were supposed to be groomed rather than read
articles on the internet.
Dustin and Tonya Goodrum of Sphynx Hunter Sphynx for sharing
information and for their friendship.
And a huge thank you to Maria Parisi of Web Designs by Maria
for building my wonderful website and for suffering through
endless questions. I’m sure at times I am your worst
nightmare but I am so proud of my website. You are
wonderful!
Please have a look at my Males and Females pages to see some
of my beautiful foundation cats.
It is easy to see why the Persian is the most popular breed
of cat in the world today. |
